Baby and Children Hand and Foot Prints

Don't forget how small your special little person was.  Here on The Mug Tug we offer a wide range of options for capturing your children's handprints and footprints for eternity in a special keepsake. Our experienced staff can create a treasured memento for you to keep and/or as a gift for Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Godparents, Christmas and Christenings etc.

With footprints available from birth onwards and handprints from about 6 weeks onwards we can paint your baby or child’s prints in a variety of options with colours and styles to coordinate with your taste.

Painted prints on ceramic items

If the bisque is big enough we can put a print on it, so no problem whether flat or round!

And with our special technique we can get a handprint or footprint for your little one, no matter how small they are or how curled their fist. Our non-toxic, water soluble paint is safe to use and washes off really easily. We take the hand or foot print for you.  We write names and ages on all pieces so you never forget, we can even add birth details (date, time, weight, place) if you wish, either on show or hidden underneath. A personal message also makes it a very special gift.

To enable us to give you our best and efficient service, Handprint Keepsakes and Personalised Gifts MUST be pre-ordered at least 24 hours before your appointment.  This will allow us to have your pottery pieces ready for your arrival and take the prints of your Little One quickly therefore keeping them happy and content.  By giving us all the details we need to complete the piece we can finish it exactly how you want it to look - but we don't know how you want it unless you tell us, please provide as much information as you can and if you have had a previous item made and would like something to match then a photo is very welcome too.  Please order using the form at the bottom of this page.

All shapes below are items we carry and are suitable for Baby and Children's Hand and Foot Prints.  Please ensure you pick an item that has space to fit your Child's Hand or Foot Print on it and suitable shape for the design required.  Advise on suitability is freely available at appointment time or you can call us for more information.

All items are subject to being in stock and are dependent on our Supplier Stock levels.

Please Pre-Order

If you would like to make something similar to a piece you have already, then please send a picture by WhatsApp it to 07715  581512 with your appointment time and we can recreate your new item to match or in a complementary style as you wish.

Leave the rest to Us......

During your Appointment with us, we will take your Little Ones hand and foot prints and go through your design requests to ensure we make your piece exactly as you would like it to be.  You then leave that with us to Personalise.  We do charge an additional small Personalisation Fee to cover our time to do this.  Prices are shown in the table below.

If you would like to personalise the items yourself you are very welcome to do so at no additional charge.
